So i'm feeling pretty accomplished at the moment. since i'm usually a 75% average student, this is awesome.
I now have three cats: Princess Pokisha (Poki), Lord Alakeen (Ally), and Chaucer. they're all about 9 weeks old and absolutely adorable. We borrowed their mom (Boots) from my younger sister in order to get rid of a mice problem in the house. She (Heather) assured us that she (Boots) was not pregnant when we borrowed her. yet, three or four days later we're looking at her and commenting that either there were a lot of mice or she was pregnant, no matter what Heather said. sure enough, we had kittens!
So now Boots has gone back home and we're keeping the progeny. They're amusing Grandma, at least and that would make them worth it even if we didn't want them. She needs something active like that in her life. Goodness knows that we're not that interesting!!
To quote one of Mercedes Lackey's books (can't remember exactly which at the moment): Cats, you can't live with them and their fur's too thin for a rug.
Gotta love them anyways
